Akihabara

Akihabara is the largest electronics district in the world. Nothing else comes close. Everything from video games, to music, video, computers, anime, model trains, etc. can be found here in mass abundance. If you like that kind of stuff, then you need to come here. Even if you don't, it's still pretty interesting.

Ohhhh, neon lights...

SEGA!

Ohhhh, more neon lights.

Inside one of the many, many video game stores. They're heavily promoting Final Fantasy XII right now.

The new X-Box 360 is playable, but it's really not that popular when compared to the Playstation 2. There were some Nintendo games too, but the Playstation was easily the most popular.

This is a view from the train station.

So is this.

You have some very neat pictures. So have you been to the Embassy yet? I used to know the Ambassador very well but he left last year, but there is still someone there I could refer you to if you want.

Here is a little info I received from Nancy at Agriculture on Maple Syrup.

Did you know that they have official sugaring off season in Tokyo (they had the official opening last year on March 31 at the Otani Hotel). Quebec exported 2.2 million pounds in 2001 to an average of 4 million pounds in 2002 and 2003. They even have a cookbook created by Eiko Egami, a renowned chef among Japanese consumers.

So one can purchase Canadian maple syrup in Japan.

Sure one can purchase Canadian Maple Syrup (if there any other kind?) in Japan. One simply has to pay an overly-inflated price!

What do I need to go to the embassy for?
