It's morning in the land of the morning calm.
I'm back in the PC bar/bang/cafe/etc. Even though there's at least six of these things within a two minute walk of my flat, I'll just stay at this one. It's pretty clean and not too smoky. Plus, the guy that runs it is used to me.
After I left this PC last night, I got lost. Only for 5 minutes or so though. Then I went looking for food. A half a block from my place I found a 24 hour store. Sort of like a 7/Eleven I suppose. I bought noodles and beer. The noodles were pretty spicy, so I'm glad that I bought beer. I had to eat them with my chopsticks, because I don't have any other utensils! At that point, I was pretty tired. I cleaned up and went to bed. It was about 12:30. I woke up at 4:00. American Pie was on in English, with Korean sub-titles, so I watched that. A lot of the shows are in English with subtitles, so I have a fair bit of TV to watch sometimes. The only actual English channel that I found though, is CNN. All of the other channels seem to switch between English and Korean shows, with Korean sub-titles if it's in English...usually. Sometimes there are no sub-titles, so the locals are out of luck if they don't know English. Haha!
At around 7am, I had a shower. The faucet is pretty close to the ground, but the shower head is attached to a hose. Unfortunately, the hose doesn't reach to the top of my head! I have to bend over or squat down to get all wet. Oh well. A shower is a shower.
Update: The other guy who works in this PC place knows English! Score!!!
One lesson I learned: don't wear socks in the WC. I need a pair on sandels.
Well, I'm off to find some food and then explore a bit more! The soccer stadium is pretty close, so maybe I'll walk over there. It looks like about a 10 minute walk. Apparently the university is nearby too...
