K-League Football
This weekend wasn't quite as eventful as the prior one, but it was still fun.
Friday night was another night at the Tombstone. What I did learn though, was that the Ulsan Hyundai football club would be playing the Daegu FC on Saturday. There would also be a pre-game party at Jeff's before hand.
On Saturday afternoon I took a cabride halfway across the city to Jeff's rooftop apartement. The cab was about $3. The same ride in Canada would've been about $10-15. This is one reason why Korea is nice. At the party, the boys had the BBQ and the keg flowing in full force. Then it was off to the game. It was pretty cool watching a football(soccer) game in the World Cup stadium, even if this place would probably never see another World Cup game. With a seating capacity of about 47,000, it was fairly large. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if there were even 5,000 people there. Maybe there was about half of that. It was still fun though. We all drank plenty of beer, and one of us even spilled some all over some poor Korean guy in the first half. Way to represent Thunder Bay...
In reality, a local should know better than to sit in front of a bunch of loud white people, each holding onto a couple of beers. Didn't Korea learn anything from hosting the World Cup? :D
The game ended in a 1-1 draw.

I would just like to be the first to congratulate you on taking in a foregin football game. Good on ya Blake!
You will soon realize that football is the ultimate sport, and I forsee you joining a korean league where you will gain international fame for your ability to out-head the Koreans...without even jumping.
Note: you shouldn't mix beer and soccer, but I think you already learned that lesson.
