Just biking around.

I spend most of Sunday just riding around on my bike.

After riding solo for a while, I decided that someone should join me on my adventures. Over to CJ's place I went, to see if she would be up for some riding on the back of my bike.

Being an adventurous girl, and not afraid of a little motor-scooter, she happily jumped on the back of my bike.

We really had no idea where we should go, so I just rode onto the highway to Busan and figured
that I'd stop when we passed something interesting. It ended up being wet ride, due to it raining heavily almost the entire time. At least it was a warm rain.

After passing though the town on Onsan, we ended up near in Jinha (both towns are actually withing Ulsan city limits, even though they aren't really part of the city). We rode on past the beach there and ended up at Ganjeolgot. It was kind of a cool area. It's the most Eastern point on the entire Eurasian continent. I'll just let the pictures do the talking here:

This is a monumental rock, marking the point at which the sun f
irst rises onto Asia. That's me, after getting rained on, looking all freaky in the wife-beater. That's CJ in the purple.

Here's a lighthouse and a few more monuments, looking out into the sea.

If Japan wasn't in the way, I'd be looking toward the Americas.

Looking north, up the coast.

I wonder if that guy's getting wet?

After leaving Ganjeolgot, we headed to Jinha beach. Here's some of the sights:

This is a cool looking restaurant, called the Sundance. Don't eat there if you don't want to spend much money.

Definetely don't eat here if you don't want to spent lots of money on food.

Now THIS is where you eat if you want fresh and cheap seafood!

How about some fresh squid?

Or some fresh crap meat?
He looks angry...

These must be some of the boats that bring in the seafood.

Looking up the beach.

Looking down the beach.

CJ thought that I needed a hug. Who am I do deny someone a hug???

An island just off the beach. There's a sandbar leading up to it.

More of the beach.

Ahh... beautiful Korea...

After returning from our little ride, I dropped CJ off at her place. I then wandered down to the football fields to see if anyone was there. After dropping my bike in the mud, I met up with the frisbee group. That lead up to eating tacos and fajita's at Eileen's place with a half-a-dozen people or so (Fin, Dee, Keith, Tampson, Jack, etc.). The beef, maybe 500g worth, costed 17,000 won. What a rip-off. Well, the food did kick some ass. From there, most of us rode down to the theatre to check out the new Batman movie. It was a good time.
